| Dear all, This is an invitation to register to the second Swedish Society for Microbiology (SFM)-one-day meeting at Svenska läkaresällskapets hus, in Stockholm the 17th of October 2016. We launched the first meeting last year with the intention to bring together researchers and students interested in microbiology in Sweden. The first meeting was appreciated and gathered around 60 persons, this year we hope to see even more microbiologists at the meeting. We particularly encourage young researchers to send in abstracts and present their work but all contributions are welcome. We are also happy to announce that our Key note speaker this year will be Dr Thijs Ettema from Uppsala University. To encourage participation the meeting is free for SFM members. If you are not a current member you can register by adding your name and affiliation at Link and by paying the member fee to PlusGirot 450026-0 (1 year, 150 SEK, 3 years, 300 SEK- do not forget to state your name). This year we will not have a dinner at the end of the meeting but instead a buffet outside the lecture hall. Participation at the mingle buffet is also free but please indicate if you want to participate when you register. I attach a poster with information, feel free to distribute it to persons that I have missed in this email. Do not miss the deadlines for abstract submission 2/9 and registration 16/9.
