APMIS
APMIS, formerly Acta Pathologica, Microbiologica et Immunologica Scandinavica, has been published since 1924 by the Scandinavian Societies for Medical Microbiology and Pathology as a non-profit-making scientific journal. The aim of APMIS is to publish original research in the fields of pathology, microbiology and immunology, and from related developing areas of modern biomedicine. APMIS has subscribers worldwide. Our current representation in the Editorial Board is listed in the Board section.

ESCMID
FKM is an affiliated society to ESCMID. As a professional society ESCMID has a broad range of activities related to medical education; scientific conferences and congresses; publication and communication; provision of awards and grants as well as the advancement of medical practice and professional affairs. Founded in 1983, ESCMID has now about 3700 regular members worldwide. Through associated and affiliated memberships, ESCMID reaches out to over 28'000 professionals. The Society is a non-profit organization with offices in Munich, Basel, and Paris. ESCMID has played an important role in the professional lives of microbiologists and infectious disease specialists for more than 25 years and looks forward to welcoming new colleagues.
