| Dear Colleague, Ocular infections are a pervasive threat and remain a leading cause of global blindness. Infections of the eye continue to challenge clinicians around the world with making an accurate, rapid diagnosis, as well as, provision of optimal therapy given the emergence of spread of antimicrobial resistance. We are pleased that the 7th International Conference on Ocular Infections will be held at the Fira de Barcelona, in Barcelona Spain from September 3-4, 2015, bringing experts from around the world providing the latest clinical and basic research advances to help meet these challenges. With this venue and forum we are looking to expand participation from delegates in related disciplines such as bioinformatics, biostatistics, epidemiology, microbiology, molecular biology, pharmacology, systemic infection, and others to diversify and enrich the discussions on ocular infections. We are also pleased to announce ICOI 2015 will be held association with the ESCRS Congress (The European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons), to be held in the same venue 5 – 9 September, 2015 We are hopeful that you will be able to join us for this exciting and extraordinary event and thank you in advance for your interest and active participation and look forward to welcoming you to the 7th International Conference on Ocular Infections.
