| Redaktör för Clinical Microbiology and Infection vill ha återkoppling | ||
Dear representative of the Swedish Society of Clinical Microbiology, We at CMI are looking at ways in which the connections between national societies and CMI can be strengthen; ways in which we can better provide for the needs of practitioners in the affiliated societies. A few points on which we could work together: 1. Are there needs of practitioners in your country (and especially of people in early or mid-career) that CMI can address? Content of reviews? Different formats that we do not have now? 2. There are national topics and problems that (although local) are of interest to all of us. We want to learn from our colleagues. Do you have such a topic in mind? You could address it in CMI by writing a Commentary; or a review; or suggest a theme issue. 3. We publish national guidelines: providing that the topic is not addressed by ESCMID guidelines (published or in planning); of interest to our readers; and performed according to our standards. Do you have such guidelines you would like an international audience to read? 4. ...and of course we are expecting to publish original research from your members. I would be grateful if you could distribute this email to your members. I look forward to hearing from your Society, on the topics above or on any other matters; but also from any of your members who would care to write with suggestions. CMI is the official publication of ESCMID, and has an impact factor of 14.2. Best wishes. Professor Leonard Leibovici Editor-in-Chief Clinical Microbiology and Infection | ||
