| Questionnaire regarding presentation of MALDI-TOF data | ||
| Dear colleagues, We kindly invite you to participate in an important initiative aimed at standardizing the reporting of MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry data in scientific publications. In collaboration with Yukino Gütlin and Eline Meijer we have designed a comprehensive questionnaire to define essential reporting criteria list for MALDI-TOF MS. Supported by the ESGMD (ESCMID Study Group for Molecular Diagnostics and Genomics), this initiative seeks expert input from laboratory scientists, clinicians, epidemiologists, methodologists, publishers, and industry professionals to ensure the guidelines are clear, practical, and widely applicable. The survey comprises structured and open-ended questions, intended to highlight critical reporting components and capture your valuable feedback, concerns, and additional suggestions. Completing the questionnaire will take approximately 15-20 minutes, and your contribution will significantly inform the development of comprehensive and practical guidelines. We would be grateful if you could complete the questionnaire by the 1st of July. Please feel free to share this invitation with your colleagues who might also offer important perspectives.
